Honda GL 1800 Goldwing - Modellreihe SC 79 (2018 - jetzt)

Die neue Honda Gold Wing ist ein großer Wurf, sowohl in Sachen Ausstattung als auch Fahrdynamik. Der Motor bleibt ein herrlich sanfter Sechsylinder-Boxer, der seine Bestimmung nach wie vor in der Souveränität von unten heraus findet. Dennoch wird die Gold Wing durch weniger Gewicht und vor allem durch ein neues Fahrwerk viel agiler und sportlicher. An Bequemlichkeit mangelt es trotzdem nicht, der Sitzkomfort ist herrlich, der Windschutz durch die etwas niedrigere Scheibe ausreichend - der Optik tut es aber gut. Die Gold Wing Tour-Modelle haben ohnehin eine höhere Scheibe und Topcase dabei. Theoretisch kann man die Gold Wing mit Topcase und höherer Scheibe zur Gold Wing Tour aufrüsten, dann fehlt aber die Traktionskontrolle, die bei Gold Wing Tour und Gold Wing Tour DCT serienmäßig dabei ist.
